A tailored resume and cover letter for every job, nothing made up
How G3 Apply tailors your resume and writes the letter for each application, what needs your confirmation, and how to use the resume builder and letter generator.

A resume that speaks to the job gets more attention than a generic version, but rewriting it for every application takes time. In G3 Apply, this happens in two ways: the copilot tailors your resume and writes the letter for each application it prepares, and the AI tools generate a resume or a letter when you want to do it yourself. In both cases the rule is the same: nothing new goes in without your confirmation.
How far to tailor: Faithful, Job focused or Maximum
When you set up the copilot, you choose How far to tailor your resume and cover letter:
- Faithful: only reorders and selects what's already on your resume.
- Job focused, the recommended option: rewrites and strongly emphasizes what the job asks for.
- Maximum: also suggests terms from the job that your resume doesn't include.
The tailored resume is on the Elite plan. The cover letter applies to every plan.
In the same setup, you choose the letter: Automatically generate a tailored cover letter for each job, written from your resume and the job description, or Upload my own generic cover letter, which goes unchanged with every application.
Anything new becomes a question for you
When tailoring brings in something that isn't on your resume, such as a technology or a field from the job, it becomes a question: "Do you have experience with…?". The screen shows how the excerpt would appear, in the resume or in the letter, and you answer Yes, use it or No, remove it.
You are responsible for what you confirm, so confirm only what's true. In automatic sending, only what you already confirmed goes out. If an application goes out with something still pending, it goes without that excerpt, and your answer applies to the next ones.
On the review screen: see the changes and adjust the text
On the Elite plan, the Resume block on each application's review screen shows:
- Let the copilot tailor my resume to this job, to turn tailoring on or off for that job;
- Rephrase my job titles to align with the job description, when it makes sense to use the title the job uses;
- the tailoring level, which you can change for that application only;
- View changes, which compares the original with the tailored version, side by side or in one column.
The Cover letter block has Open letter, so you can read the letter written for the job. While the application hasn't been sent, Edit text lets you change the tailored resume and the letter. Edited text goes out as it is, and Go back to the copilot version undoes the edit.
Resume Builder and Cover Letter Generator
Outside the copilot's applications, AI Tools has the Resume Builder and the Cover Letter Generator. You enter the job title and paste the job description, pick a resume you've already uploaded or add another as a PDF or Word file, and choose the output language: Portuguese, English or Spanish.
In the Resume Builder, you choose between Tell me how to improve my resume and Rewrite my resume. Without a title or description, it works from your resume alone. Without a description, the letter generator writes a generic letter.
The result shows up on the screen, and you copy or download the text as .md, generate it again or edit the request. Each tool allows 10 generations per day. Review before sending: AI can get names, dates and numbers wrong.
Good habits
- Start with Job focused and look at the changes in your first applications before switching levels.
- Take your time with the questions about new terms: your answers apply to future jobs too.
- Keep your base resume up to date. Everything comes from it, so a good resume leads to good tailoring.
No resume can guarantee an interview. What tailoring does is show, for each job, the most relevant things you already have, without putting anything on paper that you didn't confirm.
